Role Summary

NEXSYS-ONE is seeking ambitious and technically capable AI Developer Interns to contribute to real-world AI initiatives that improve automation, intelligence, and operational performance. This opportunity is designed for undergraduate students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electronics, or related disciplines who want practical exposure to modern AI engineering in a professional development environment.

As an AI Developer Intern, you will work with experienced technical teams on the design, development, testing, and deployment of advanced AI applications. The role offers hands-on involvement in large language model (LLM) workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector search, agentic systems, and computer vision solutions for image analysis, OCR, object detection, and visual inspection.

Key Responsibilities

You will support active AI projects across multiple areas of development, including:

  • Develop and test AI applications using Python within structured project workflows
  • Assist in building LLM orchestration pipelines for intelligent automation and contextual response generation
  • Support the implementation of RAG-based systems for semantic search, question answering, and knowledge-driven workflows
  • Work with vector database concepts to improve retrieval quality and contextual relevance
  • Design and refine prompt engineering strategies for task-specific AI performance
  • Contribute to agentic workflows that support automation, reasoning, and decision assistance
  • Integrate AI applications with databases, APIs, and external services for end-to-end functionality
  • Apply core machine learning techniques for preprocessing, evaluation, and iterative improvement
  • Support computer vision use cases such as image analysis, object detection, image classification, OCR, and visual inspection
  • Assist in building camera-based AI solutions using tools such as OpenCV, YOLO, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
  • Participate in debugging, testing, and performance optimization to improve reliability and efficiency
  • Document technical work clearly and collaborate with team members on implementation delivery
Required Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a strong technical base and a clear interest in applied AI development.

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electronics, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Python for software development, scripting, and AI implementation
  • Working knowledge of LLM orchestration concepts and practical AI workflow design
  • Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) principles and intelligent search systems
  • Familiarity with vector databases and semantic retrieval concepts
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering and agent-based workflow design
  • Experience or familiarity with database integration and API-based connectivity
  • Foundation in machine learning, including preprocessing, training concepts, and model evaluation
  • Demonstrated exposure to computer vision, including one or more of the following:
    • OpenCV
    • Object Detection
    • Image Classification
    • OCR
    • YOLO
    • TensorFlow
    • PyTorch
  • Strong analytical thinking and interest in solving real business problems through scalable AI systems
